Summer Internship Program
The Department of Political Science and International Relations offers a Summer Internship Program for third and fourth-year students, providing opportunities to explore various career paths while earning academic credit for their internship experience. Participating institutions include the Korea Foundation, Dong-A Ilbo, East Asia Institute, Asan Institute for Policy Studies, National Human Rights Commission of Korea, National Assembly member offices, the Iraqi Embassy in Korea, KOICA, CBS, and the Asia Economy Daily, among others. To meet students' needs, the department continues to expand its network of partner organizations and offers opportunities for overseas internships.
Once the internship institution is confirmed, students will undertake a 4 to 8-week internship. Internship credits are awarded based on weekly reports, a final report submitted after the internship, and an evaluation from the institution. These credits are recognized as elective credits (3 credits). To apply, students should check the notice posted on the department’s website each May and submit the required documents to the department office.
