International Exchange Program

The department of Political Science and International Relations at Korea University has established exchange student agreements with Lund University in Sweden, Jagiellonian University in Poland, and National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

1. Lund University, Sweden: Established in 1666, Lund University is located in Lund, the southernmost city in Sweden. It is one of the largest research and educational institutions in the Scandinavian Peninsula.

 

2. Jagiellonian University, Poland: Located in Krakow, Poland, Jagiellonian University is one of Eastern Europe's top universities, founded in 1364. It is known for its notable alumni, including the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and Pope John Paul II. The university's Korean Studies Department has over 100 students.

 

3. National Chengchi University, Taiwan: Founded in 1927, National Chengchi University is one of Taiwan’s prestigious universities, renowned for its top programs in the humanities, social sciences, and business.

 

College of Politiacl Science and Economics Programs

 

Korea University’s College of Political Science and Economics has agreements with National University of Singapore, Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia, Thammasat University in Thailand, and National Taiwan University for student exchange programs. Additionally, as part of the Campus Asia program, student exchanges are also conducted with Waseda University’s School of Social Sciences in Japan, Peking University's School of International Studies in China, and Nanyang Technological University's School of Social Sciences in Singapore.
 

1. National University of Singapore: Since its founding as a small medical college in 1905, the National University of Singapore has grown into a leading university, frequently ranked among the top institutions in Asia by QS and other global educational rankings.

 

2. Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia: Gadjah Mada University is the oldest university in Indonesia and has produced notable alumni, including the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Indonesia. It is a prestigious public university.

 

3. Thammasat University, Thailand: Established in 1934, Thammasat University is a top-ranking national university in Thailand, competing with Chulalongkorn University for the top positions. It is well-known for its law and political science programs.

 

4. National Taiwan University: Founded in 1928, National Taiwan University is the premier university in Taiwan, producing prominent professionals in politics, business, and various fields across the Greater China region.

 

5. Waseda University School of Social Sciences, Japan: Known for its English-centered degree programs, Waseda University's School of Social Sciences focuses on contemporary Japanese history and highlights core values such as community, development, peace, and international cooperation.

 

6. Peking University School of International Studies, China: Located in the heart of Beijing, Peking University's School of International Studies is a prestigious national university directly managed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It offers about 30 research areas, including Chinese foreign policy, international finance, and political systems.

 

7. Nanyang Technological University School of Social Sciences, Singapore: Nanyang Technological University’s School of Social Sciences is a key department within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, offering extensive interdisciplinary research opportunities and career paths in areas such as health care, cognitive behavior, and environmental ecology.

 

8. The University of Indonesia: One of the oldest institutions of higher education in Indonesia, it is today recognized as the country's leading prestigious university.

 

 

University Programs

 

Korea University’s Office of International Affairs operates the Student Exchange Program (SEP), facilitating exchanges between our university and partner universities for qualified exchange students. The Office of International Affairs regularly announces details about partner institutions and selection processes related to the SEP program.
